Books recently read

1. "Freakonomics" by S. Levitt and ..
Exciting book by young Chicago economist

2. "The Code Book" by S. Singh
The best "science for layman" book I have ever read.

3. "The Undercover Economist" Tim Harford
The first chapter is good, but overall dull.

4. "On Bullshit" by Harry Frankfurt
Has a degree of humor but that is very intellectual humor.

5. "The Predictors" by Thomas A. Bass
It tells how a group of physicists made a fortune in trading by using chaos theory. But prospective readers beware, it is not a book on investing or Science, but a story about a venture company.
